Polyvinyl Chloride
PVC foams can be supplied as very soft semi open cell or fully closed cell. Semi closed cell foams are used in applications which require an extremely low force to compress. Closed cell foams are used to seal out air, moisture, light, and dust. PVC foam is manufactured in rolls on a casting paper, PET film or other film carriers. Acrylic adhesive opposite side or plain uncoated. These cast rolls are self-wound, hold together nicely and facilitate manufacturing application speeds. PVC is inherently fire retardant and also available with UL flame ratings.
